Bargain basement entry, but plenty for me for now.
My Christmas present from Mrs Cjelli on the right.
My ageing cheapo LP copy on the left.
Personally, I have time for cheapo LP copies as I learned most of my guitar playing using a candy apple red one. It played fine, sounded fine, and was just the ticket in my time at Uni.

I'm interested in opinions and what people would expect to pay for a similar guitar built to spec once I post pics, before I reveal all!
I am 99% certain I know the luthier in question and therefore know what price you'll be paying so I'll stay out. I'm interested in ordering one myself - did you get to give one a test run?

I haven't, taken a punt based on overwhelmingly positive (although limited) feedback. Happy to let you have a play of mine once it's here in several weeks if you're local to south Cheshire.

Ballpark figure of £2.5 - £3k should cover a bolt-on neck that is top notch. Price may be a bit lower if warmth/usacg/musikraft parts are used but its the time invested to finish & setup that you are really paying for.

After moving a little over 3 years ago, my guitars were all stored in flightcases until I could get around to getting them out on display, ready to play.

Thankfully, that day has come - so lots of Woodies Hangars laters - here's the full set smile

Trouble is - I've run out of wall, but want to add to the collection!

I'd love to add a Washburn N7 and a BM Red Special.

That's a truly epic collection, I'd be incredibly happy with that lot on my wall smile

Never seen those hangars before, they're brilliant!

I had a look at the site and was surprised to see your guitars on the front page hehe

As was I!

I contacted them about it - specifically through the 'I don't know what hangar I need' link. I think they used my pic (no idea where they got it from - probably here LOL!) as I use all the variants of their hangars.

It's a tiny business and having spoken to them (about using the pic wink they've just kept their heads above water and kept going. Glad to support them, especially as it's a UK company.

Highly recommend the hangars (no, I'm not on commission smile ). I'm not keen on hanging them from the neck especially as this room does humidity wise (but I monitor it). The great thing about Woodies is that you can barely see them and there's zero stress on the guitar.

Thanks for flagging the hangers, I was thinking this morning about hanging one of my old guitars up on the landing and it was annoying that I'd have black plastic bits showing. This solves it nicely so I've ordered some.

Just bought myself new guitar (I’m a one guitar guy so it’s a big deal for me) and a Helix LT and I’m kind of in love with it

Yes that's the sort of figure I've been quoted..

Haha thanks, it’s good to be here. After a couple of different strats that I liked but not loved, this feels so right! I’ve never bonded with a guitar instantly like this.
