Just ordered this. Haven’t played in about 10 years but felt like it was high time to pick it up again, possibly because my 2 year old son encourages me to play at any given opportunity.

Stock pic (you monster!) but will post a real one when it arrives.

My latest ‘upgrade’ (ie unnecessary modification) to my MiM 72 Deluxe Thinline Tele...swapped out the butterfly string tree for a Gotoh barrel one...

Yep, they’re good. I just fancied these because 1) they fit the chrome look of the rest of the guitar and 2) it was something different to research/do during these unusual Covid times smile

That's lovely, is it a US made?

Judging purely by the maple headstock that’s a CE model

Since we are posting images from the advert, I thought Id show this.....bought from Reverb this week...

Pic doesnt do it justice, for an Epi, the whole thing feels very classy with the added bonus of not being such a heavy old hector as well....

Plays lovely as well...

Nothing wrong with Epi Les Pauls,I've gone mad on them lately. Have 3 now with a 4th possibly on the way.

I'm in the 'think it looks better now' camp. Removing the 'kids doodling' is an improvement to my eyes.

I would say it looks better now, but if you can replicate this, it will become a lot more attractive (as an homage!)

Incidetally a JS100 in black was my first Ibanez. It started me on a slippery slope!

This is it now, the green one.

Wow, thats a lovely collection, I would have the SWTA one in a heartbeat, and you have a genuine Chrome boy,

The JS is growing on me , going to strip and clean the pickups and clean up the fretboards .
I am not a fan of graffiti or artworks on guitars but hey it's good that we have different tastes otherwise life would get very boring .
As anyone got any tips for stripping the paint off the rear of a guitar . My vintage Hohner Les Paul is partially stripped and the wood looks gorgeous. I would like to finish it as it would compliment the front IMHO

Thank you - yes, the JS20th and the Chrome boy are rather lovely things. They fit in nicely with the rest of the Ibanez collection... (I might have another one or two after this photo!)
