Better than Reverb? I've got to sell my guitar, and really don't want tons of hassle!
thefretboard is a great site and good for sales and purchases. Silly pricing will get you ignored though - not in a nasty way but zero responses to an ad.And members know what everything is worth (or have strong views at the very least.............).
reverb.com is good too. I've had no hassle there in about five years and have bought and sold far too much, quickly and easily. Prices tend to be a bit higher too.

Another step on my Jaguar project over the last two nights. I've now wired in an Eric Clapton mid boost PCB. It was a bit of a faff as I decided I'd use a spare slide switch to give me a bypass option in case of battery failure: This connects the pickup selector output direct to the output jack (without volume or tone connected) if the switch is put in the 'up' position. It's a bit brighter like this, but might even be a setting I would use for certain songs or recording.
The mid boost really fattens up the sound which works well with the bright Jaguar pickups. The circuit gives a bit of overall gain compared to the 'bypass' mode, so can push the amp or pedals for a bit more crunch. Really pleased with it so far...next step is to strip the body to bare wood and refinish in Candy Apple Red nitro, but I want to play it a bit first.
Battery is secured using velcro, but I might cut a battery holder hole in the back at some point:

I’m liking this very much.Ok, while loving the Gretsch I bought recently and while it sounds good through my iRig and headphones it sounds rubbish through my amp.
I have a Fender Mustang 1 v2
My Les Paul sounds ok, the 335 sounds rubbish while my affinity telecaster and mexican strat sound good.
Im thinking that the Amp needs changing as the Gibsons and the Gretsch are too hot for it, but need something small.
Would the Yamaha THR10ii be suitable? It seems to get good reviews but then so did the Mustang (although I am aware it is a cheap amp).
Obvious answer and something i will probably do is to take the 335 which is the worst for the fender to a shop and plug it in but just wondered about opinions on here.

Your amp : guitar equation is seriously unbalanced IMO. Get something decent, maybe a Blues Junior, chopping in a guitar if needed to do so. If it's for home use only get a decent 5W valve amp.I have a Fender Mustang 1 v2

Give 'modelling amps' a wide berth in favour of something with a good basic tone and build from there.
I don’t mind spending the money, but I’m going from a large house with just me, to a smaller house with 4 of us so i need a level a practical as well. This is why the fender mustang appealed, and why i am thinking of the thr to replace it. I could go for the thr30 if it is going to be a better proposition. But lets face it im st just happen to have some nice guitars but not much space!
Will mainly be using headphones but would like to keep the capability of playing aloud when possible.
