I will forever love this as a piece of music and came across this just now while surfing around.

It holds untold emotions for me as i didn't try hard enough to include it in my brothers fuernal score.

But in a way i am glad it's all mine and not put out there.

Any others out there that stop time?

You have to have some things that are yours CedA4, don't regret that you didn't include it for your Brother's Funeral smile

That first piece was used in Hannibal which always stuck in my craw a little - it's not the sort of thing that he would like IMHO. Hannibal Lecter is supposed to be a connoisseur of the finer things in life, with impeccable taste in everything: food, wine, art, music (listen to that fantastic piece of Bach in Silence of the Lambs as he batters that poor prison guard!). He would consider it infra dignitum, a sort of opera-lite I think winkhehe

(Not taking anything away from the OP BTW paperbag Music is of course completely personal - one man's meat is another man's poison, etc.)

Well according to some people, personally I reckon its so beautiful it had to be written by him. Or at least he instructed his lackeys on how it should be written before he popped his clogs.

Not bad, the video is a bit crap though, thought Thriller was better.

We will never know! Although I understand he wrote the first few bars at least.

O/T just watching a thing on TV about an autistic artist and it occured to me that Mozart was probably somewhere on the autistic spectrum.

Gordon Lightfoot's original will be prefered by most who know the song I expect, but this was the last recording Johnny Cash made, he knew he was dying. When I first heard it I was driving, I had to stop the car cry
