Satch fans - new album

I for one like it. Much better than the last two albums. I know Satch has been slated over this latest offering.

Flying In A Blue Dream is one of my favourite pieces of music. I think it sounds loads better when he plays it live in G3: Live In Concert than the album version.


Vinnie Moore is excellent too.

Thanks for the heads up! Satch is such a melodic player...

Didn't really like 'Super Colossal", though 'Strange Beautiful Music" was great in parts....

Flying... was his masterpiece IMO.

Satriani peaked with the "Surfing With The Alien" album.

Everything after that was a variation on a theme.

There are a few unoffical videos with tracks from the new album on youtube if are in that site anytime. IMO Crystal Planet was a peak and hopefully he is getting back to form.
