Agreed! Was alway funny in the silly music mags of the 80s (Smash Hits?), they built up rivalry between Duran and Spandau. Total pointless.

And it was pretty cool that Tony Hadley did a cover of Save a Prayer.

If I'm going to be brutally honest, I like them both too.

Add in some A-ha, some Tears for Fears, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, Human League, Thomas Dolby etc. and I'm happy as Larry.
