I like a nice bit of Faith No More, so when discussing with my friends sister's boyfriend, he said in his Welsh accent 'oh yes if you like Faith No More, you should give Mr Bungle a try.....' So I did... different isn't the word.

Has anyone else listened to them?

If you have, thoughts?

and for those who haven't

I'm a big FNM fan, particularly Angel Dust..

..I listened to Disco Volante once a couple of years ago. Didnt like it. I may have tried one of their other albums too but cant remember - either way, I am not a fan.

I had the Mr Bungle Mr Bungle album until someone borrowed it and never gave it back.

I had only listened to it a couple of times, ages ago so cant really remember what it was like, although I do know that they were not as good as Faith No More.

Hmm yes my first memory of that was putting the album on at work, that song comes on customer walks in, a great intro to impress the customers!

Girls Of Porn is one of the best Bungle tracks, though I do like Desert Search For Techno Allah as well.

Have a listen to the three Tomahawk albums as they're the closest thing to FNM that Mike Patton's done, though the last one's not as good. The third Bungle album isn't as silly as the first two either so fairly FNMish.

Or if you want something really strange check out Fantomas, especially Delirium Cordia which is a single track of various strange noises and isn't really something you can listen to very often.
