I am moving house soon and accordingly have started cleaning out the loft.

I have a pair of Series 1000 Mk111 Mono Power Amps, a P2 Phono Pre Amp, and an L2 Pre Amp.

They have been in the loft for a good few years, and I wont use them again, so need to move them on. I had thought of ebay but I dont know if they even work, I would be grateful if any body has any ideas regarding their value and how best to sell them.

Thanks in advance for your comments,

Probably about £500-£1000 for the 1000's and about £250 to £500 each for the Pre amps. If they have any "Good" valve types in them that could go up quite a bit. My Own Series 500 Integrated was £1000 and has never really dropped below £500 in all the time I've had it. The Mullard EL34's in it are probably worth £70 each which isn't bad as I paid £100 for five.

Nice "find".
Good luck.
I would look in the back of Hi Fi Choice and Hi Fi plus. Find a dealer who is friendly and could test them and sell them for you.
Might take time but I'm sure that won't worry you if they have been "lost" for a time.

Thanks for your replies.
I have had a look at the valves, the small ones at the front are Precision ECC83-M2JD2 & ECC82-M2HD1,s, and the big ones are unidentified.

I dont ever recall changing them, so I would assume they are the original ones, is that good or bad?

Precision were the ones that AI themselves. Not bad but not sought after. Probably they are Stock Chinese types. The Power valves are probably the same. Check out www.borderpatrol.co.uk for their Audio Innovations page which has more info on the amps.

Spoken to Difinitive Audio who were recommended by Border Patrol, he has agreed to have a look at them, and either service and sell for me or simply by them after review.

Anyway thanks for the advice

You could also try Noteworthy Audio in Aylesbury.

An amazing shop, I could spend hours and £1000's in there if I had either.
