I'm only happy when I'm riding me hog.

Think that was one of his finest songs.

One of my mates knew him (Dumpy) and always got singled out for abuse when they played at the Southampton in Surbiton.

remember seeing their name around mid 80's - mid 90', and got dragged to a gig of theirs at The Bottomline (now a Walkabout) in Shepherds Bush early 90's maybe... Don't remember much except they were typical british Biker Bluseish Rock..

Saw them a fair few times in the early 80s. Sang 'Route 66' with my brother at Cambridge Fisher Hall with them when almost falling-down drunk.
Dumpy Dunnell signed my brothers cock at a gig in Chelmsford with black marker pen once, an incident which Dumpy apparently still remembers... LOL!! Stopped watching themn when they started getting big support slots and people started taking them seriously....

I also saw them supporting Hawkwind (in Portsmouth, Dec 1985), though TBH I can't remember much about them.

I was there too. Was in poly in Pompey back then. I too can't remember many salient features of the evening, or much of the previous 3 years.

Does the above mean anything to you?
Mostly it means having a can of lager poured down my pants by a big grinning loon with a guitar on a stage in front of a couple of thousand bikers...

There is a purpose to the question.
...it seemed like a good idea at the time? Well, that's why I ended up taking part in one of Dumpy's infamous impromptu "Wet Y-Fronts" competitions anyway, but then it was a long time ago and I was very drunk at the time.

Incidentally, for my money behind all the sillyness DRN are a pretty competent band as well as hugely entertaining act and it's my opinion that they're rather better musicians than they're generally given credit for...
