Looking at doing a valve amp kit and am looking at soldering irons.
On a point to point, what wattage should I look for?
Are soldering stations worth it? Maplin do a station for £40 with temp adjustment and I was wondering if this was a good buy

Maplins had a soldering station on offer at 9.99 before christmas. I bought some electronics kits and the soldering iron station for my 15 year old son, and some lead free solder. Works great
