strictly bands, no solo?

i'd have thought the beatles would be no.1. being a motown fan, i know the temptations are up there. the rest are likely to be american or massively popular in america

the eagles?
led zep?
pink floyd?

ummm....

Strictly Bands.

None of the above, though I would have thought PF would have been in it.

The trick is to think of bands who have produced a fair few albums.

If you want clues, no probs. The top one should be easy, as they must be the biggest of all time.

No,

1 and 2 are huge bands. 3 is a huge rock band.

Didn't see your Beatles guess sorry.

You've got another two.

1. Beatles
2.
3. Aerosmith
4. Rush

All done.

1. Beatles
2. Rolling Stones
3. Aerosmith
4. Rush

It's interesting isn't it. This shows consistency I suppose, and a strong fan base, particularly for Aerosmith and Rush.

rush is the one that surprises me. no accounting for taste eh?!

any idea on the numbers? only ask as i know the temptations had 23, and recorded 56 bloody albums!

i guess solo artists would be fairly obvious - elvis/jacko/madge/some bucktoothed country music star?

I got the first three, for the reasons you mentioned, aerosmith being the easiest. But I would never in a million years have guessed Rush in P4.

(Good thread)
