listening to 'Everything I do' for 14 odd weeks a few years back made me pretty aggressive every time I turned the radio or TV on.

Excellent thread! You just got to love angry music...

Raging Speedhorn - Knives & Faces + Random Acts Of Violence
Discharge - Ain't No Feeble bd
Rapeman - Hated Chinee
Icons Of Filth - Onward Christian Soldiers
Conflict - The Ungovernable Force
Doom - Police bd
Extreme Noise Terror - Deceived + Use Your Mind + Murder (or anything else really)
Silverfish - Total fking Asshole
Godflesh - Streetcleaner
Tad - Satan's Chainsaw
Venetian Snares - Mutant Ct Sniffer + Befriend A Child Killer (Remix)
Speedranch & Venetian Snares - Making Orange Things
John Zorn's Naked City - Bonehead + Hellraiser
Drumcorp - Down

But, if you want to get really, properly aggressive try one of (or anything else by) these;

Merzbow - All Beauty Is Our Enemy (if you can make it through any Merzbow record without wanting to break something you're a better man/woman than I.)
Whitehouse - My Cock's On Fire (I've seen so much violence at Whitehouse 'live actions' it's not even funny. Along with the usual fisticuffs & several glassings, I once saw a six foot-plus, brick sthouse of a transvestite wrench a monitor off the stage & literally smash someone's head in with it. More sensory assault/sonic bludgeoning than music but I like it...)

Got hundreds & hundreds more suggestions, angry music making up a (un)healthy majority of my listening collection. Have fun! Love & bunnies... winktongue out

And others like that.

Edited because Koenig has good taste.

Didn't think I'd see another Whitehouse semi-fan on this site! I have Asceticists 2006 on the iRiver currently.

Well, as it happens, I have in front of me my Merzbox, with 50 CDs and a CDR of Merzbow in all his many flavours. My thoughts are that "Pulse Demon" is one of the aggressive takes on his style, well worth a listen (or not if you don't like noise)

For the more modern headbanger, i would nod along to The Emperator Chromatic tracks, such as 'Mental Fear', that certainly stokes up the adrenaline.

"...And you got the clap on your 14 birthday, from that shy friend of your father, who finger-fked you in the same car, he later sucked down the gas in..." Good man! I fekkin' LOVE Whitehouse. Pure brutal quality. lick

So, you have Merzbox do you, you lucky chap... You must be considerably richer than me. (Edit; I just looked at your car, I'm sure you are!) I have a copy I 'borrowed' from a 'friend' on the internet but I'd love to actually own the real deal... I was going to say Pulse Demon but changed my mind at the last minute. '24 Hours - A Day Of Seals' is also a particularly brutal listen. Am listening to Aqua Necromancer at welding volume as I type. biggrin

thats a cracker, a slightly different take, but all the better for it IMO!

just a few of mine are,

Fugazi "Waiting Room"

Slayer "Bloodline"

Rollins Band "disconnect"

proper agressive music shouldn't be outright thrash or heavy metal, but be a toned down slightly slower yet more sinister, menacing sounding number IMO evil

Surely 'Bullet in the Head' is RATM's best 'aggressive' song?

Anyway, not sure they can necessarily be described as 'aggressive', but my quick choice for cranking the volume up to 11 are

Deep Purple - Speed King
Noisia - Stigma
Black Crowes - Remedy

finally got to see the bronx in glasgow the other week, awesome stuff!!

Agressive songs? I'd just nominate pretty much anything by the haunted, 99 or all against all in particular. Makes you want to punch people in the face! hehe
