Along with the usual fisticuffs & several glassings, I once saw a six foot-plus, brick sthouse of a transvestite wrench a monitor off the stage & literally smash someone's head in with it. More sensory assault/sonic bludgeoning than music but I like it...)

Well, as it happens, I have in front of me my Merzbox, with 50 CDs and a CDR of Merzbow in all his many flavours. My thoughts are that "Pulse Demon" is one of the aggressive takes on his style, well worth a listen (or not if you don't like noise)

For the more modern headbanger, i would nod along to The Emperator Chromatic tracks, such as 'Mental Fear', that certainly stokes up the adrenaline.
