As John Lennon once said "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me,". Too true and he was The Walrus..... I could be The Walrus, it still wouldn't change the fact that I don't have a car.
Sorry Mr Toad, thats gone completly over my head!
Can't find the right clip jimmy but here's a really big hint...

Ooops you got me Ferg. I really thought that song was at least a top 40 hit. Only got to number 60. And I thought I was real good at this.

Even if it was what I was listening to when I got pulled in my MR2 doing over a ton.

There was a Nike sponsored event in a park in Chicago which had a bunch of 80s bands performing their one hit over and over a mile apart from each other and the runners had to run between them . It was called "Run Hit Wonder".

Propaganda are not a one hit wonder:

1984 - Dr. Mabuse (No. 27)
1985 - Duel (No. 21)
1985 - p: Machinery (No. 50)
1990 - Heaven Give Me Words (No. 37)*
1990 - Only One Word (No.71)

and this was released as a teaser to a 2000 album featuring the original lineup that was sadly never released.

Duel is still a good tune though.

  • Although the 1990 incarnation only retained Michael Mertens from the original lineup.

Cutting Crew did another good song called "I've been in Love Before."

They even had a Greatest Hits Compilation.
