Ok, I'm a big James Bond fan, but which is your favourite theme song?

In case you've forgotten, here is the list below. My personal fave is Live and let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings.

Dr. No - John Barry & Orchestra. Monty Norman

From Russia with Love - John Barry and Matt Monro

Goldfinger - Shirley Bassey

Thunderball - Tom Jones

You Only Live Twice - Nancy Sinatra

On Her Majesty's Secret Service - John Barry The John Barry Orchestra

Diamonds Are Forever - Shirley Bassey

Live and Let Die - Paul McCartney & Wings

The Man with the Golden Gun - Lulu

The Spy Who Loved Me - Carly Simon

Moonraker - Shirley Bassey

For Your Eyes Only - Sheena Easton

Octopussy - Rita Coolidge

A View to a Kill - Duran Duran

The Living Daylights - a-ha

Licence to Kill - Gladys Knight

GoldenEye - Tina Turner

Tomorrow Never Dies - Sheryl Crow

The World Is Not Enough - Garbage

Die Another Day - Madonna

Casino Royale - Chris Cornell

Quantum of Solace - Jack White and Alicia Keys

Got to be "Live and Let Die" but only if it's the Guns and Roses version, saying that if we're going for versions then the Propellerheads version of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" from Deksanddrumsandrockandroll wins hands down!

Can't decide on the best, Die Another Day has to be the worst though

Nobody Does It Better - Carly Simon.

All day long.

Best opening credits, best car, best bond bird, best bond film, best theme.

Done.

..as an aside... I just bought David Arnold's 'Shaken & Stirred' compilation - some very good interpretations of the classic's which I thought might be crass but worked really well

I have two equal bests.

Carly Simon for the overall best song.

However the sound of the Gladys Knight track is superb and best reminds me of Bond.

On that note, I think the most 'Bond sounding' track ever is this, and it would have been one of the best:

The first time I heard that I was sat in the studio with the producer during mixing and I told him the same, and he admitted that was never his intention. I guess he never made the call to the Broccoli clan...!

Musically, I can't decide between Carly Simon and Shirley (Goldfinger)
