Dave Lee Roth - Eat 'em and Smile (on Vinyl)

My first album was received rather than bought - though remains, over 30 years later, one of my favourite of all time:

Deep Purple - In Rock
Mine was "Fireball"

Eric Clapton, Just One Night, bought in HMV in Oxford St in 1987. Still have it, and still one of my all-time favourites.

Don't know why but one of my favourite song lyrics ever.

Blur - Parklife in 1994.

I was 8. Got it the day I got a CD player for Christmas. Great album, still listen to it regularly (actual disc I got in 1994 may I add). Love every track.

Another Deep Purple here - 24 Carat Purple.

Closely followed by Jethro Tull - Songs From The Wood.

The first I actually bought for myself I think was Michael Jackson's 'Bad' on cassette.

The first I ever owned and was given as a present was Johnny Hates Jazz in the late 80s when I was about 7.... I may have asked for it but I don't remember!
