Love the drums. Reminds of Mark Greening in old Electric Wizard.

Found this on YouTube:

Quality IMO. Bit on the heavy side so I thought it'd fit well in here.

As much as I've been enjoying the tech and prog death metal worlds of late, I also still enjoy proper old school underground death metal nastiness!

Looking at and listening to that stuff makes me feel like it's 1992 all over again, and I've just received a bunch of TDK C90s through the post from Finland. Happy days!

strong Entombed vibe on second in top row HM2!Always threatening to post in here, its often not what I listen to, I'm still getting through mostly the better-ish known old stuff so not particularly switched onto whatever is new.
Making an effort to try and get through a thousand track playlist of stuff to check out on Spotify, I tend to spend weeks listening to the same few albums at a time - started watching brainsmasher on YT recently, I seem to have a similar taste particularly that melodic death(early)/blackened death/blackened thrash/melodic black/black sort of area so it's given an impetus - problem is my playlist is now 30 albums longer...
Somehow managed to go straight through Moonsorrow's whole discog this week...never listened to the albums properly beside Jumalten Aika
Kiventantaja https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqNVDhC8FZI
Borknagar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu2HfR9I93c I remember dismissing this several years ago, no idea why, more and more taken with this album
Seth - La Quintessance Du Mal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GQ6azHBqSU
Keep of Kalessin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t-TTM85XEM
Varathron https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gv8wDsjr0c thought I'd put Thy Mighty Contract on, not a bad thing

It's fun isn't it! Also a stack of Bolt Thrower-y and Mortician things going on in there. Does nothing remotely new, but deeply enjoyable regardless. Even the logos and the artwork are period - I can imagine black and white badly photocopied versions of those plopping onto my letter box back when I was 17! Some of the bands have additional stuff available, and watching that on YouTube then generates a bunch of recommendations of similarly swampy old school fun.Oh, and love Varathron and pretty much everything else Greek BM related (Thou Shalt Suffer, Necromantia, Agatus, Zemial etc). Lose track of who's in which band, as so many of them overlap, but that scene has always had that extra special something about the sound. Really unique atmosphere to it.

Posted the "Live Room" Conan sessions a while back, and see they also have a Slomatics set. Be rude not to.

In a Black Metal mood:-
Natvres - Death of the Earth
Reminds me a lot of Craft's "fk the Universe", which is no bad thing.

Loving this thread - watched so many of the videos - thanks to all contributing.
This arrived in my Facebook feed a few weeks back. A mongolian band called The Hu Band. Have we had this yet?

Tickets confirmed for Machine Head Burn My Eyes tour in Nov
Stupidly excicted.
I'm going to the g;asgow show with my brother, should be amazing. Been to the last couple 'evening with' MH shows & They have been excellent. With the lineup change, it could be a bit more fast paced & less newer ballad songs! Stupidly excicted.
This week I've been listening to Atreyu's last album, it snuck past me but was released in 2018. 'In Our Wake' & 'The time is now' are both incredible songs.
Yup, was hoping to go but didn't tie in with logistics for work. Up in Aberdeen so a bit of a trek!
If you can see cancer bats, go watch. I'm not a massive fan but I've seen them twice in the past 12 months and they put on a good show!
The Bronx, too... Not annoyed at all that I can't get down
