Did anyone else see her on Something for the Weekend on Sunday?

Loved her first album, and it seems she's a bit of a petrol head. At 21, she drives an Audi R8 and a Bentley Continental Supersports. cloud9

Can't deny she likes cars.

Pity that she's got a voice that sounds like a goose farting in the fog when she sings though.

Does she like cars or does she, as I suspect most girls of 21 given loads of money would, simply like bling?

Absolutely - she tries to pretend that her inability to hit notes is 'stylised, with a Scottish accent' (and I should be more loyal considering she a local lass!)

She's even worse live (when there's no studio magic to cover up the fact that she can't carry a tune in a bucket).

I suppose she has infinitely more (as in a tiny amount being infinitely more than none at all) talent than most manufactured chart 'acts' these days because she can strum a guitar and invent some tunes (as opposed to writing music), but I reckon an influential producer backed her career on the promise of getting some when she became 'of age'.....

She sounds like a de-tuned foghorn.

Hmmm, petrolhead or rich young girl who likes shiny things, I know what I'd wager. Footballers wives all drive flash cars, surely they're not all petrolheads too, can't imagine Amy adjusting her tyre pressures for a quick trackday blast.

".....And thoil meet wun daayy-heeeee".

Vic Reeves 'club singer' voice comes to mind.

I like her, haven't got any of her songs but I wouldn't change the station if a song came on the radio. Not everybody sounds like Leona, and that's a good thing. Things would be very boring to listen to of it was all Cowell friendly voices.

I saw her live at that performance, and trust me she was just as awful. Plus you don't need super hi-fidelity to spot when someone is in tune or not....

She's crap. I have friends who are instructors at RSAMD who say she's pretty poor but they let it go because (as I said) she at least has a bare grasp of playing and reading/writing music (as in musical score, not producing great songs) which is more than can be said of Leona/JLS/etc.

The rest of the world are clearly taken in by her (very limited) 'talent' and looks.

The start of the melody for Mr Rock & Roll for example is the same three notes played up and down and up and down for 8 entire bars - not exactly Beethoven, or even the Beatles for that matter. And as for the chorus, you would have though at least she could write it within her own singing range.....

I like her, shes better than 90% of the mass produced talent show crap in the charts. Her voice isnt the best, but its far from shocking either. If you want to see a variety of unanimously crap live acts go onto 4OD and watch T4 on the beach. God, I was throwing things at the TV watching that.
