Just got back from Nocturnal festival in Austin TX

Chase and Status Live, Ed Rush & Optical + Pendulum (Play the "They aren't drum and bass" card if you like, they are fantastic live :P) - amongst others - Big Gigantic and Crystal Castles were rather good too smile

Good weekend biggrin

And on the female vocal side of things http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWP9VvkeTmA - depressing video, brilliant song.

For anyone that likes some slightly heavier stuff:

Spor - As Dust Falls . Set it to 1080p, much better sound quality.

Yhea I like that, I perceived with it as it starts off pretty mellow which is not my sort of thing, then it has a Konflict like quality to it with the beat structure & synths.

Sorry for the hijack but are there any current DnB artists that are more laid back? I'm getting too old for Pendulum style anarchy and want more of something like Alex Reece. Any suggestions?

Try searching for 'liquid' or 'atmospheric' DnB, those are the more chilled sub-genres of DnB.

Try someone like Calibre
Calibre Feat Lariman - Overeaction

Or Oscillist, very unique and little-known, but one of my favourite artists
Oscillist - Foliage (Wait for the drop)
His older albums are free to download too, the links are on his youtube channel.

Seeing Bukem in that list has just reminded me of Horizons , I havn't heard it in ages. It's almost as old as me, but it never gets boring. Properly good tune biggrin
