My favourite album covers are the ones I spent hours looking at while by dad played them on the record player. Here are some of my favourite, some are pretty obscure but the music is great!

MC5 - Kick Out the Jams - great album too...

Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run - doesn't get much better!

Appletree Theatre - Playback - The alternative to Sgt Peppers (imo much much better!)

The Fuggs - It Crawled into my hand, honest - Another odd one, but still great songs.

Rolling Stone - Let it Bleed - Just great!

Will never forget seeing this in record shops as a kid thinking "I have to know what that sounds like" as it intrigued/disturbed me so much.

Iconic alternative hiphop cover.

Does this count?

ETA: Well beaten on the Zappa cover so I'll add this one:

So basic yet it sticks with you, amazing album too.

Front of the album was:

Delia Smith made that cake, not a lot of people know that.

Here's my favourite, but I am biased:

So that's the one I was thinking of!

I thought it looked familiar.

Thats the view I have as I drive home at night, less the two giant steel heads of course. Although they where there for a while!

Interesting, I wondered if you were going to say you were the photographer. I've never studied the view, where is it then? scratchchin

The Streets - Orginal Pirate Material

The cover artwork photograph of Original Pirate Material is by German photographer Rut Blees Luxemburg called Towering Inferno. The towerblock pictured is Kestrel House on City Road, London.

Also, always had a soft spot for this one. First album and CD I ever bought (1994).
