No man has any business listening to Celine Dion Frank.
Her version of Immortality (Bee Gees) is stunning.
Carry on listening Frank.
No argument here CTM, or as
it’s Céline, vous avez raison!

Ah yes. You're the bloke who'd never heard of David Bowie at the time of his death and appeared to be quite pleased with yourself. That and the above snidey comment speaks volumes about you.

Jackson Browne song the Pretender and indeed most of his very early stuff is beautifully written
Amazing stuff to be doing when so young . Another favourite is Dan Fogleberg Souvenirs album some really nice songs with a stellar cast of backing singers .

I reckon the Great Gig in the Sky by Pink Floyd qualifies.

Always sends a shiver down my spine, when I hear the full version!

Excellent, but Torry did it with the barest minimum of brief. Once anything has been done once, it's easier to do it again.

It may not be the most beautiful and haunting song ever, but “All out of Love” by Air Supply blows my doors off.
I flew back from NYC one evening circa 1981-1982, after telling my American inamorata that the constant flying back and forth from London was killing me, and we seriously needed to re-evaluate our long distance relationship.
She called me a couple of nights later and played this down the phone.
I tried, I really did, but it gradually died an emotional death.
I eventually went to her wedding, and she came to mine, and my wife stays with her in NY when she’s there without me.
