As long as it is passport size that is not a problem. I am not sure we need DNA though wink

I'd guess our tickets are going to be exhibitor ones, hence the need for the photo on it, can't you get your mate to email you a photo of him that you can print out to take tomorrow?

Hey what, I seem to be missing something, well at least an email! What is required - is it a picture of the person for each of the free tickets?

yeah, I got the email last night, it has the details of where to go tomorrow, and that you need a passport size photo for each of your tickets

mmm, was under the same impression.
you do the following:

Insure car,
Drive car to NEC,
wash car,
get own transport home,
do without car for 4 days,
get own transport back,
Wait for show to end to take car home.

now of course i don't mind any of this (otherwise i wouldn't have offered the car)
but i was under the impression tickets where to be issued, which are alot more useful than id'd passes.
doesn't have me feeling over enthusiastic i have to say.

don't understand why people are getting p*ssed off, no one forced you to do it, and the tickets/passes are free.
I assume they are passes because we are exhibitors rather than general public

You lend us your car to show, to do this your will need A,B,C,D.
For do this for us we will give you A,B,C,D.

What has happend it that we have only been told about A and B. The rest is sent to us in bits, with the last one coming (for me at least) only a day before seting off. This change the blance between what I am puting in and what I am geting out.

Hi PHers

Only two days to go! Thank you for all your submissions for the spec sheets. Just a quick update on the £7 tickets for the Live Action Arena (LAA), they can be purchased on the day at the LAA. This offer is only open to the owner, and their partner, of the display car. You will have to produce your complimentary pass in order to get this discounted ticket for the Saturday and Sunday shows at the LAA.

With regard to the two tickets you will be receiving on the day, we need you to please bring a passport photo of yourself and the person that will be using the other ticket, as it needs to be fixed onto each ticket.

We would like you to bring your car to Car Park “East 3” (E3 on map) at the NEC (near the Hilton Hotel off the M42 at Junction 6). Once you’ve entered the NEC grounds take fourth exit at the roundabout and the first right, which will be car park “East 3” (E3).

Please see map on following link: http://www.necgroup.co.uk/visitor/travel/maps/necv...

You will be signed in at the kiosk in the car park and directed to your appropriate hall from there.

Lastly, there are 200 cars that need to go into the halls so if everyone does arrive all at once it could mean that things could take a little longer than expected. We will be around from noon till 7pm on Wednesday and will make every effort to get things done as efficiently as possible.

See you there!

Ian Tonkin

PS: Please don’t forget to send me your spec sheets through to me asap if you haven’t already. Thank you.

Dose any one know about the spec sheet?
Is that the form we filled in to start with or have I missed one of the emails?

think it was on this thread, and an email, was this

If you could provide us with the following information (exactly as follows):
Make:
Model:
Colour:
Engine/cylinders/capacity: eg. 4.4-litre V8 turbocharged or 1.6-litre four-cylinder direct injection
Modifications: (Put “None”, if the car is standard)
Owners Comments: (Please write a short paragraph of between 70-100 words detailing your own car’s history/heritage and your own personal ownership experience)
It will be greatly appreciated if you could submit that information to me (showyourcar@pistonheads.com) as soon as you possible can. Thanks very much.

Does the requirement for the passport photo mean that as an exhibitor, you are
only entitled to just one guest who can attend over the three days?

I originally thought you were allowed one Guest ticket each day that could be
used by a different guest each day?
scratchchin

This would screw up my transport arrangements if it is the case...
