Keep coming back to these. sold my M4 at Xmas and now in a 640i but I still like the look of these.
This 75th anniversary in green has just come up and looks great for £26k.
any thoughts on it or owners views appreciated, fairly rare beast.

Looks to be based on the Overland judging by the exhausts. PCP cost per month indicated is virtually the same as a new one. This 75th anniversary in green has just come up and looks great for £26k.

Looks tidy, though.

I’m on my second Summit, and 5 years in, I have had my first breakdown - air suspension failure.
To their credit, a call to their European call centre and a recovery truck was on the way and I have a shiny Discovery Sport on the drive whilst they fix it under warranty...
Sounds like good customer service / warranty cover. Strange they’d give a Jeep driver a Land Rover as a courtesy car though; given it’s a direct competitor. I know the cars will often be arranged by a third party but still! To their credit, a call to their European call centre and a recovery truck was on the way and I have a shiny Discovery Sport on the drive whilst they fix it under warranty...

It is quite interesting to try it, though.

There is a new Discovery Sport about to launch; The first one is a little bit bare inside but drives nicely, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Yes, surprisingly fast too.My best man has a lower model which I have driven before, and I found it a bit basic and boring.
This one is 19 model and is very well specced (leather dash, heated leather seats etc) and seems much more solid.
For the money, however, the Jeep is much better value.
Hi All
I have been wanting GC for about 18 mths & just purchased a Summit my14 & so far love it to bits faultless other than FCW doesn't seem to be working any ideas it's a good run of 90 miles to return to Jeep dealer if any ideas out there for a fix save the trip it would be appreciated ?
Regards
Mike

Forward collision warning
Is it actually switched on? I think there are at least two levels...I have the auto braking switched off, but it still shouts at me, for example. As for the car...enjoy...I drove from Kent to Bristol and back this morning (well, back by 1pm anyway) and barely feel tired. It’s a great car.

Is the adaptive cruise control working? I believe that users the same sensors.

The current shape Grand Cherokee 3.0 diesel Overland / Summit with Air Ride has been out a number of years now (since 2012 ?)
I hear the odd problem with the Air Ride, and I guess this can be expensive. As they get older wear and tear is going to have to be factored in to the ownership costs.
Apart from that I'm not hearing too much bad press
But are there any other very common problems these Jeeps are suffering from I'm not aware off ?
Thanks

Replaced it with a brand new Volvo V90 cross country- which looks prettier but is a far worse car
During my ownership of 2 1/2 years the only issue I had with mine was the vented seat on the drivers side stopped working. New unit replaced under warranty.
I had one other problem nobody managed to resolve, winter and damp/cold conditions the windscreen would mist up - I know that happens to lots of cars but I mean really thick, to the point of running off. Could never find out why this was and it was bl00dy annoying when it happened. Other than that it's the one car I actually regret moving on.

I've had a test ride in a 2016, drove great. Much smoother than my 2004 2.7 CRD !
Diesel particulate filter is a consideration. I do a mixed bag of driving so hopefully that wont be a problem.
I've got a main dealer (Slough) 6 miles from home also for problems (Expensive I know....)
Just wish there were more Indy's around who can spanner on these and have software to reset problems.

I have a great Jeep indy local to me in Kent if you're prepared to have a drive out. Many years of Chrysler from old to new. PM for details if you want.Diesel particulate filter is a consideration. I do a mixed bag of driving so hopefully that wont be a problem.
