Guys, new to the UK and live in NW London. I used to be very big into 4wd'ing (1976 BJ42 with a 6 inch lift, 35 inch muddies and a 5.7ltr chev... was a beautiful thing). Are 4wd day trips a possibility living where I do? If so, I have been dying for a Samurai with 33's biggrin

There are plenty of sites around the South East if you want to turn up for a pay and play, plus a reasonable number of green laning opportunities. Whereabouts in NW London are you?

Any recommendations for the Cleveland / North Yorkshire area?

I have a nearly new Suzuki Grand Vitara and would like to try some panel friendly greenlaning.
I would also like to try a visit to Kielder forest but are the tracks open for greenlaning?
