What's a S3 LW Landy worth these days

I going to get rid of my s3 LW landy, but at the moment it is sans MoT. The thing is that although it is a 73, its the wrong side of the 73 so is not tax exempt.
Cosmetically, it is quite tatty but mechanically it is sound apart from a small amount of bulkhead rust. It's also not turned a wheel in about 8 months so will need some work (probably) to pass the MoT.
The question is, given that they're now a pariah and it still has the original engine (leaded) ,should I bother to MoT to tax or should I just sell it for parts. My thinking is that it's probably worth nearly as much to someone to use as spares for a tax exempt one. Also, what's it worth?
Additional info is that it has a hardtop and a set of black steel 8 spokes and mud tyres + the originals.
