As per the title really, anyone else going to Aldermaston site next week?

wil be going there soon, very tied up over next few weeks though, been before its a good site, what do you take offroad?

Been there before in my land rover series 3 v8 hybrid but am now offroading in a 200tdi 90 with lots of toys on!

Not been there since my CND days. I'll dig out my duffel coat and my banner.

Used to do a fair bit of off-roading in my six years in the Middle East with my lovely old Jeep Cherokee, including marshalling the desert rallies and overland from Qatar to Oman via Saudi and the UAE (look that up on a map...), if that counts?

Yes that can count. Not too many deserts about here so have to make do with muddy fields.

I only know how to drive in sand, and I don't like getting my car muddy. The one time I drove a Landy, after six years of Jeep ownership was enough to deter me from off-roading for life!

Crikey, must make driving around for the groceries a PITA...
I must admit, it's getting hard to find the sandy route to Lidl, and I never go out in the rain...

I meant the only offroading I've done is in the desert. I did get taken round a UK test course in a landy about 10 years ago. I'm still waiting for my spine to come back from the repair shop!
