Early 80's series 3 109 24v, only 7,000 miles from new! Was a Royal Engineers training vehicle, used for teaching army bods to disassemble and re-assemble land rovers. Not in the best cosmetic condition now but mechanically very nice.

And cheap as chips!

If every time they stripped it they had a washer left over like always seems to happen with me then it's a wonder it's still standing up.

hehe

I'm entertaining notions of an RV8 at the moment. Time will tell how many washers are left over!

That looks very nice - i'm thinking about buying an Air-Portable SIII to partner the Discovery until I lay my paws on a 101 next year yes

Stick a V8 in it with 4-branch manifolds exiting out the back with no silencers thumbup

Nah, well maybe not... Well, maybe. Probably.

Until I buy another Mog!

Yep, that 2.25 petrol isn't exactly a monster. I don't really plan on keeping it that long so the v8 conversion might not be the best bet. You never know though... hehe

I've had two 404's before and will either get another or possibly a U1000/1200.

yes

I've driven a U1700! Belonged the the electricity board, they came to cut some trees down on my land that were near their lines. In return for a play in my old 404, I got a bit of a go in their beast. What a machine!
