As this is the Off Road forum I think 'normal bloke' was making the point that Jeep is actualy a brand name(like Landrover) and not a generic term for all 4x4 type vehicles.

Have to admit to not reading the text for those pics and never saw it said "Jeep".

In that context I quite agree about it being wrong and retract my previous post
