less than 280k? i bid 120 smile

more seriously, i'm convinced by the cayman over the z4. asterix: would you mind disclosing the annual running costs and who you use for servicing etc?

is that a come on? hehe

joined the site to view the thread and it says i'm trying to edit someone elses post. link please!

if it's a classic stang i will likely want it. almost spaffed last night browsing dubizzle and saw a lime green challenger. pity it was the usual 'car is in USA' guff.

eta - i've joined and hit the link in the email i was sent. i can see i'm logged in but can't view threads or post one to ask why.

small forums that take ages to register for = well gay

i was looking at that too, until i spotted the fwd reference.

the defender is epic but i would need something very fast to be towed by it's trailer hitch. also diesel is a rip off wink

i would donate body parts for this, but i would also be prepared to bet it's another that is still in the US

the gt500 isn't really me tbh, but even less so in red.

have you been sniffing glue?

don't know what it is, but the 197 seems far too tall for my liking. the 182 on dubizzle/petrolheads for 24k seemed a good buy mind.

i've had loads of belgian food and 6 pints of leffe. this is the mood i should go car shopping in. at the moment, i'm having grand theft auto style getthefkouttamyway musings on that tomb raider landy

Lovely landy there geoff, but I'm nothing if not uber picky. Must be a double cab, avec v8.

On another note, is this road legal?

http://ajman.dubizzle.com/classified/autos4x4s/nis...gte=&year__gte=1920&year__lte=1994&keywords=&is_basic_search_widget=0&pricelte=

If so then this definitely warrants further investigation.

eta: looks like a dealer non? and that looks like a silver nsx behind.

dusty - send me the map link NOW!

Aye, its in ajman. Looks like I'm working til 7 tho. I asked if road legal as it looks tidy but could be a contender for a crate v8 biggrin

The black nsx is at al awir. Few scrapes and scabs with a worn interior. Deffo not worth the money they want for it, auto is just the coup de grace.

i think that depends what's been done to it. if body and interior are decent and the brakes, suspension and transmission have been properly upgraded then it could be a good buy. plus we all know sticker price isn't buy price. reckon it could make a good cruiser/track toy.

as i say, needs closer inspection. i didn't make it past the bar again this evening....

went up to ajman car souk this afternoon to see the datsun. wouldn't you just know it, the dealer was shut frown

from 20ft it looked very nice and the dealer stock is comforting - all z cars and gtrs. will try an get up again this week but i'm away for a couple of weeks from thursday then.

driving around they did seem better for having more individual cars. saw a few fintail mercs, an mgb roadster, a pair of mg midgets, a 60s mustang, a couple of series 1 landy's, and a 70s bmw 3.0cs.

on the other hand, most of these were tatty. the stang was a mess and whilst the bmw looked in average nick, opening the doors revealed all i needed to know [i.e. they didn't close properly!].

met up with del at al awir afterwards but didn't see a single thing in my price range that i liked the look of frown prices of the older stuff were also ridiculous - 120k for a late 60's stang that was worth less than half that, and 170k for a bike engined tiger / lotus 7 thingy.

If it's required for daily duties, the porker would be my choice but as your budget keeps on increasing i'd plump for the viper green gt3rs for 330k on the bizzle. Reson being I don't like the XKR and reckon the Aston could cause you bother.

If weekend only then I'd also go lambo, or the F355 that's been up for 245k for months now - could be a barry argain. I'd also go looking for a 550M.

Overall, the R8 would make be the best of both worlds. They look so much better out here than in the UK, I'd love one.

I put this up in a thread about a year ago. Imagine it would be a great project but you would have to do the entire vehicle and who knows how long that would take or cost. I still love it though!
was it this same car [orange one] you posted about?

depends how stock you want it and how much time you have. on the 2nd link that guy seems adept at converting bits to fit. it would make an awesome desert camper and the perfect SZR rush hour machine.

fancy going halves? if you can come up with 50fils we can bid the full dirham.
