I need to scratch the V8 muscle car itch.
Must admit I didn't have any intentions of doing the V8 thing, ended up getting a Dodge Charger this year and honestly as a motorway mile muncher its actually quite good, interior is relatively pants in places but the engine is actually surprisingly good.

Id have loved the ZL1 but simply cant afford one, unless sell off other cars which don't want to.

Not really a valid point is it, seeing as it isn't fwd
Assuming you're addressing me: the RS3 would a good deal slower on the dash (although it's all relative I suppose) with FWD, is the answer you're trying to avoid giving. wink So yes, it's a completely valid answer because it's pertinent to my original comment about Haldex.

It's nearly dsf time, see what discounts are available. a heavily discounted current model with the difference spent on wheels/power upgrades would be a good compromise.
That's not a bad idea.

The factory wheel options here aren't great and some decent springs would be a nice upgrade. Ford will also fit a Roush exhaust which is covered under the Ford warranty.

My supercharged Jaguar XKR was quick and even quicker when I had the Upper and lower supercharger pullys changed. I then moved on to a manual DB9 which I had enhanced from 450bhp to 520bhp....That thing was bl**dy quick. I now have a Bentley Continental GT Speed and it scares the Hell out of me... It is really quick and grips well with the 4 wheel drive.

Do I indeed?!

A day at the huge Sharjah car souk can be an effective remedy for itches that need scratching. You often find that a few quick test drives and those itches don't return.

I'm sitting tight for the Mk 8 Golf R - with a sly eye on whatever Polestar come out with on the EV front.
