Well, only got an hour of daylight left. Better get started....

Just seen Fats pop up on biker banter. Wondered who else is still active on here and still in the sandpit. I realise the local car scene has flourished a lot recently with the likes of flat12 and dubai drives putting on some awesome events, but could be good to see who else is still here having only planned to come out ‘for a year or two’ hehe

Also I have done the whole ‘oh, bikes are really cheap aren’t they’ thing and got myself a 2 wheel death machine, so if anyone dresses up in leather to hang around with other men at the weekends (yes nick, it’s you) then I’d be up for some gentle runs out.

So, shout up if you’re here and feel free to post pics of your current fleet!

I’m leaving at the end of Feb after 15 years. The McLaren is currently on Dubizzle if anyone is interested, the cheapest car in the 650S section by far and a bit of a bargain if you are not worried about the mileage biggrin

Evening! Yep, still here but constantly forgetting my password, so usually run out of patience before I get it again!

I did hear you bought a bike mate....congratulations. Now, do yourself a favour and come out with us (DRG) on a Friday Morning...the rides are good fun...pretty quick to be fair, but a good standard of riding.

WhatsApp me if you need any info...Stu has my new'ish number.

I’m away next week but will whatsapp you when I’m back. I reckon I’ll be too slow at present, taking a few on road lessons as the rta process teaches you naff all in terms of technique!

Yup still here. 16 years in and counting!

In a Ferrari FF at the moment but work is keeping from it way too much at the moment.

Although should probably change my username to Abu Dhabi John now!

FF? Awesome, congrats! Think last time we did this kind of thread you were having to sell the mclaren due to work so nice turnaround smile

My current job situation is unclear, car situation also lol. V8 landrover bus has served me well but is now showing signs it’s going to get expensive soon so needs to go. Still got the elise, have a radical sr8 project on the go, and now a Ducati monster 1100. Hoping to keep these 3 regardless of what comes next professionally but may have to move which means losing the garage which is the only reason I moved in here in the first place!

Yeah the McLaren went as part of a job change palaver.

Now in the looking at our options for the future with some plans for getting out of here in about 5 years. So now is the time for an obnoxious V12.

I’d love a big bike but reckon I’d be dead in a month.

Good to hear from you all. About time we had a beer?

No change on the car front, don't think i'll ever sell the Porsche, and struggling to get excited about anything new - well not at sensible prices anyway...!!

Tri-ing to swim, bike, run these days!

Live at The Villa. There's loads of buzz about it on FB.
Also sooo much noise from the D54 last night and the street racers in the early hours, some cars impounded and arrests made. Doesn't seem to deter them.

Will be back in the next few days starting new job on Sunday.

How’s the weather? I’m developing webbed feet here.

Weather is perfect, starting to warm up a wee bit, still crisp in the mornings.

My do I stay or go question was resolved this morning, offer signed, here for the foreseeable!
