What would you think was a ball park figure for a Mustang GT for example?

Basically it's worked out on the value of the car, and the insurance is a percentage. I think mine if 4.5%.. Depending on the insurer, issues such as age and no claims can be a factor. I have a friend who bought a Mustang last year and got a year's free insurance. He had some troubles sorting the insurance himself (due to age), but did find someone who would cover him. It cost though.

thats fine, by comparison im currently paying 20% of my cars value so its all relative and certainatly acceptable if its any less than that!
a new mustang gt is just a benchmark of what sort of ball park ill be aiming for
