Does anyone have any recommendations for banking in AD? I'm currently with Natwest - but not worried about changing because they're crap. I'll be paid in the UK, but will need to have some offshore savings and access to money on a day-to-day basis.
I use HSBC mainly for their online facilities, never had a problem with them in all the years I have been with them and for the 4 years here. Not the cheapest bank in terms of what you pay for their services, but better safe than sorry.
Good on-line facilities and best customer service in the UAE. Doesn't mean 'good' customer service (it's actually really cr@p) but better than some experiences I've had here.
