Hi guys,

I posted on this bit of GS a couple of months ago when I was considering an offer to move out here. Well I've just arrived and thought I'd say hello.

Currently hotelling in Old Town and rolling a most un-PH 3.7 Cherokee Sport (but secretly loving it for the short term!).

Look forward to dropping in on this site and getting involved if there are any meets happening - hopefully have some better wheels by then.

Jealous of those GP tickets - might rouse the troops myself...

Hi mate!

Welcome to Dubai!

I live in the old town so if you fancy meeting up at some point let me know. Some of us are out in the calibar in the address hotel tonight if you fancy coming over!

Craig.

Hi there and welcome.

We've been a bit lax on the meets this year so far and we're running out of cool weather as well.

Please feel free to get in touch if I can help in anyway - only a PM away.

Thanks for the warm welcome gents, it's all going well so far.

Craig - thanks for the invitation. I made the mistake of going out with some colleagues which meant a trip to the Metropolitan's dubious Red Lion, fortunately none of them had the stomach for the rattle snake but as our taxi weaved it's way through the crowd of 'waiting' ladies on the way back I got the picture...

It gets worse - I actually went in last night. Memmory is hazy as we had dinner at Cactus Jacks which involved pints of Leffe and five shooters for the price of four but conversation went something like this:

Me "I don't fancy it, doesn't sound like my kind of place"
Him "No you will, they have a band and everything"
Me "But is it not a bit weird, a bar with just men and hookers?"
Him "No you've got it wrong, it's a normal club with couples and groups of girls and stuff but there are some hookers there yes"

Man did he lie.

A friend of mine got me to go the exact same way!

A few of us ended up playing pool most of the night and getting our asses handed to us by a 4' Asian woman hehe

Have to admit the band that played that night was pretty good. But as for getting to the bar and not feeling like I was being dry raped was a challange hehe
