Is that the one they are using to test the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres? There have been 4 cars thrashing it around the Autodrome for the last few days. If it is, then watching them come around turn 16 was awesome, especially the Merc which really did "light up the rear tyres"

Yep that is the one. The cars did sound rather nice as I drove past the main straight on the way home from work.

Spotted some sort of old Jag convertible on Al Wasl road yesterday evening. Didn't get a pic but appeared to be one of these lovely old motors:




Chap was a proper Dapper Dan too - driving gloves, blue blazer and white shirt. Top effort!

It was the same yellow one that was on display along Emaar Boulevard as part of the National Day classic car display.
