Is this what the thread as descended into? just stating where you've seen stuff, that in this town, you just about see everyday???
Spotted Loads of Ferrari's on Shake Zed road, just next to the Land Rover showroom, seem to be there most days.
Just noticed this - was that in response to me?Spotted Loads of Ferrari's on Shake Zed road, just next to the Land Rover showroom, seem to be there most days.
Unfortunately, navigating the DIFC roundabout in the morning where the notion of 'give way' is a foreign concept meant that did not have a chance to get the old camera phone out. But true, I often see black Konigsegg on the back of trucks being driven around. In London, people would be chasing down the street with camera phones for the latest upload onto social media :-)
Ditto with the Fisker. Electric car in an oil rich country with no real infrastructure for recharging out and about and from a company that has gone under. Add to that the problem with getting parts for relatively standard cars (we've all been there) and whoever bought that tore the lid off the bottle of brave pills and downed the lot.
Want rare? I'll put up a photo of my car in the thread. All day breakfast at Fibber McGees to the person who uploads a photo of another one (must be a spot in the UAE!)
:-)

Photos of unusual stuff I think is the idea of this thread and not being in London, modern supercars aren't that unusual. That's what makes it a bit special and interesting to see older stuff, be it supercars or an NSX or older model Skylines, ZX's, 80's and 90's Mercs and Beemers, 70's Fords and Vectra estates.
And what is your car? Always do with a Fibbers Breakfast. By the the user name I assumed you were dyslexic and it was a Volvo?

I see where you are coming from (saw a E55 estate a while back and realised has not seen one in a long time and since we were in the UK) but you are clearly seeing a lot more Fiskers and Konigseggs out and about than I am.Photos of unusual stuff I think is the idea of this thread and not being in London, modern supercars aren't that unusual. It's a Cadillac SLS (2008 onwards). Looks like the shorter STS (of which there are quite a few) but a different car overall. This is an SLS:
If you are up to the challenge, shall we say to 31 December 2015 to spot one and post a photo (of course).
I won't even eliminate mine from the challenge and I do 60km a day in and out of Dubai so breakfast is still yours if you end up spotting me.
Game on?

Ha! Yes, not sure there are many others. I'm sure we will have spoken - it does get a lot of nice comments, but it is amazing the amount of people who refer to it as the 'old car'!
It does stand out amidst the thousands of 911 Turbos that seem to populate the roads hereGassing Station | Middle East | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
