GT Cup seems to be a shadow of its former self. Any competitors care to hazard a guess as to what's going on?

Also - is there a general desire for fewer photos? Happy to oblige if so - sorry.

Max5 racing from Mallory last weekend smile

Full Album link

I'd prefer to see the number of photos per post to be a little lower tbh, a handful is enough..

Scroll quicker then hehe

I don't host mine on flickr or anywhere that I could link to, so I just post a selection from the day.

You may want to look away now laugh

These are some from Cadwell last weekend. I've posted them in Biker Banter too, so appologies if people see them twice, I just thought some on here may like something a bit different smile

I'm sorry mate, I just don't see your logic there! The idea of the thread is to show random photo's being snapped by us amateur photographers who spend their weekends on the banks of circuits around the country.

Had I posted three pictures of classic bikes and a link to a website with the rest, would those who aren't overly interested (other than a passing interest in all things mechanical!) have bothered to look?

Nope they wouldn't and that's the point, it's just a bit of fun and a way to both show off your photo's, get chatting and look at things you may not see in glossy magazines/websites.

With all due respect I really can't see how there can be too many photo's, unless you're on a hooky dial up connection and struggle to load the page smile

It just gives us more to scroll quickly past when someone else adds to the thread that's all. And with that I'll let a few additions be made before checking back.. I'd rather see 'the best of' tbh. Its no problem though, do what you like smile

I'm happy to drop the number of photos if that's the general feeling. I have them all hosted on my website but figured it'd be easier here. It can be a ballache trawling through them all on a slow connection though.

I thought the idea of the thread was for pictures, so how can there be too many?

Go for it.

In the early days of the thread we had several people recognise themselves from pic's and ask for copies, and that was part of the reason the thread was started smile

Ladies, stop it. Petty bickering is kept in general gassing.

A happy medium would be say 15 pictures max, or maybe more with a full on written up report to keep it entertaining.

(although my internet is really quick so I don't have any issues wink)

Who's bickering?

I'd prefer to see as many pictures as possible, that's all. It's what the thread was started for and it's what's kept it alive and thriving smile

True, I do agree; but I can also see it from the point of view of someone who has a dial up connection.

Anyway, as you were.

Its a Reliant Kitten - mental ay!

Love projects/cars like that. But I've got to wonder if after developing cars like this for years the owners step back and think, we should have bought a ...... *insert any race car, single seater, westie etc etc smile

Yep, she is a Reliant Kitten body on a spaceframe chassis with a 4.0l Rover V8, Lotus Sunbeam ZF gearbox and Jag diff/IRS... First appeared in the early 80s in Wendy Wools Special Saloons and then passed through quite a few hands, never doing that much, until I picked it up last year smile

And PGD5, I've gotta say that for the money I've spent I could easily have picked up a Westy or a Radical Clubsport - but that would be too easy! And at least I'm not going to lose it in the paddock wink Can't see me ever getting rid of it unless I find an old Thundersaloon RS500 or a GT40 in a barn somewhere...

Wow, great to see the owner on here! As I said car's like this make a days racing so very much more interesting to watch, so you keep going with it.

The transformation is nothing short of jaw dropping, and we certainly made an effort to watch the races you took part in. Love it smile

Glad it put a smile on your face - it sure does mine!

If you search on Youtube for KittenV8 you'll find some in-car video; apologies in advance for me driving like a big girl's blouse - first time on track for far too long and second time ever in the car! smile
