Better than OK - post up some more! Was always a seasonal highlight watching the Tuscan Challenge at Oulton when I was a kid - Hales, Flux, Campbell-Walter, Caine, et al. Great days and great cars.

And stumbling across the random rally reminded me of when I was a kid. We went on a family holidy to Jersey, and their annual hillclimb just happened to be on. As I'm sure you know, Jersey's not shy of a few wealthy people so there was some real exotica. Will have to see if I can find any old photo's when I'm next at the old man's

They run quite a few hillclimbs over there IIRC - including a round of of the British championship.

Fingers crossed I'll be going next year.

The RoC was really good fun. I'd never been to Wembley before so that was interesting in itself. Only issue was the freezing cold - it was monumentally chilly! I even bought a scarf while I was there to try and warm up. The action was great and plenty of sideshows too - Motocross, Terry Grant and demos from DTM, Audi R10 TDi LMP1 and Red Bull/Toro Rosso Grand Prix cars. I shouted myself hoarse cheering on the Brits. If I wasn't skint then I'd be well tempted to head out to see it in Bangkok in December - great excuse for a holiday!

Lotus buying is on hold until new I get a new job, in the process or getting my HGV sorted out as we speak so won't be too long hopefully. The aim at least is buy one come next winter. The pics I have no excuse other than pure laziness

Don't worry, mate. They're worth the wait. I dithered for about 3 years before I bought my Elise. Much better once I had a garage and a crap car to take to work.
