Was chatting on a Lotus forum about Nick Adams' Lotus 23B. Here are a few shots of his pain-stakingly restored car at last year's Goodwood Revival where he competed in the Madgwick Cup for small-capacity sports racers of the 1960s. I expect srob will probably know car and driver well...!

I emailed Nick a link to this thread, and he was dead chuffed. Said he knows where his lunch times will be spent!

Also sent me this link of him racing the 23B at Silverstone. How much fun does this look?!!

Great to know Nick is reading and enjoying the thread. Please say hi to him from all his friends in NYLOC - we see him and Richard Paramint up in Yorkshire from time-to-time. Silverstone looks amazing - what a fantastic little car!

I'm desperately concerned for the plight of the thread over the long winter months. I think I'll get uploading more shots from museum trips and my dad's archives to help fill the void.
I've got years worth of photo's on my laptop from before this thread started, I'll try and just bung some random ones up every now and again for amusement smile

Chev, I know you're a fan of the Silver Arrows cars. Just going through the old pic's on my laptop and found this one, from Goodwood FoS 2010.

I think we should all drop occasional pic's in through the winter to keep the thread interesting until the new season.

I got a renewal thing through the post for my season passes yesterday - the Snett/Cadwell combined one has dropped to £125. Bargain smile

Oh and top marks to the fella who found the Firenza pic's above - exactly in the spirit of the thread beer

No a club racing pic, but a Club Lotus Show pic. My buddies at Lotus Drivers' Club had managed to obtain this GTE Evora for their stand. Last campaigned by Alex Job in the ALMS in 2012.

Think that's in reception at the moment!

I've just renewed my season pass so will hopefully be contributing again. Went to Snett yesterday for a bike meeting - a few pic's here if anyone wants a snout.

And well done to all those who kept the thread alive through the deep dark winter smile

VSCC at Prescott - short report and photo gallery online: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk/2013/vscc-prescot...

Couple of previews:

Now that, I like!!

I can't wait until the VSCC meeting at Snetterton at the end of September, we're hoping to travel to it in period style; me riding a 1928 Royal Enfield sidecar outfit with the gf in the sidecar and dad on his 1924 Montgomery. Last year I took the 29 Velocette KTT and he took the 47 KSS, they got rather a lot of attention smile

When I saw you'd commented I expected it to be about the motorcycles, mate! Sounds brilliant - and nice you can share your passion with your old man. Not seen many posts from you recently. You been getting to Snett much?
Sorry mate, missed this! Haven't been to Snett too much, been busy with the bikes most of the summer!
