Both I think and they were very strict on it all, penalties handed out and even one car disqualified IIRC.

Regs here - http://www.750mc.co.uk/ugc-1/1/1/0/2016_final_regs... say suit, gloves and balaclava for fueler and extinguisher carrier.

Delighted to report that over 20 paid up entries have now been received for the opening Club Enduro Race; with a few more still to come. A great range of production based race cars will be represented on the grid including examples of the BMW M3, BMW Z3M, BMW Compact, Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta, Honda Integra, Honda Civic Type-R, Porsche 944, Porsche 968, Mazda MX5, Mazda RX8, Toyota MR2 Mk2, Toyota MR2 Roadster, Toyota MR2 Turbo, Renault Clio 182, Peugeot 106 and VW Golf!

All teams will get a full written and verbal briefing on refuelling and pit stop discipline plus the 750MC will have a limited amount of kit available to lend/hire for those who no doubt forget something!

Wow I can't believe my friend and occasional coach Ben Demetriou and his protege Jonathan Evans only went and won the thing.

Great to see front engined pork winning races again as well.

The 968 was flying and a great result for a class B car yes

Good to meet an fellow PHer there as well, sorry that your car didn't make it to the end Damo frown .

We managed 5th O/A and third in class B in two of the daftest vehicles out there which starts off the 2016 silverware

White vans are faster than red ones, a paint job should find you a good few seconds. What engine is in it?

Agreed. You should get your S2 out in the next 2 rounds, Neil.

To think I was going to paint it white last year. Was a good day first ever race and come away with silverware in a van how would of thought that was possible

Heard there were some penalties dished out afterwards? Anyone know what happened there?

It went faster than it looked like it had any right to! And more than fast enough to scare pat!

Really enjoyed it we'll be back for the next one, possibly with some upgrades as 142bhp/ton just couldn't get us any higher than 4th in class C even after deducting the few delays we had. Despite not expecting the noisy gearbox to last the distance it was a pretty trouble free race and we only dropped 50s in total from issues and got to enjoy a bit of on track fighting with a couple of MR2s and the MG.

The best bit is the cost to time on track ratio is the lowest I've ever experienced!
