Mine seemed like big end bearing failure but turned out to be a simultaneous sump pick up falling off and a starter motor disintegrating banghead...

This season, head gasket twice, gearbox, driveshaft, brake bias valve, wiring to the fuel pump, plus the usual wear and tear items, couple of crashes... oh, and a puncture. Finished every race though biggrin

Well done, 750 MR2's is a good place to start are you using one of Patrick's cars (Rouge MS)?

I didn't do any track days before my first races but it makes sense to do a couple of track days first, club racing is completely different from trackdays though.

Yeah, using one of Patrick’s. He’s not got so many out this year from Rogue but the grid is completely full up. Definitely a good choice of championship to start out, there’s good competition right the way through the grid.

Great place to start and Rogue will look after you, probably quite an easy introduction to racing as they make every effort to show people how it all works. If anyone is reading this and fancies getting into racing 750 mc hire drive would be a good place to start and see if you like it before buying your own car/trailer etc. The Rogue cars are really well prepared as well.

How are you enjoying it compared to what you thought it would be like from doing some track days?

It’s brilliant compared to track days, such an awesome experience.
Patrick and his team are very good, very organised and take away any hassles leaving you to concentrate on the racing.
He definitely wants to get some more drivers on board as well this season.
