There would be no sense in you upgrading the engine as the car itself wouldn't be competitive now in RGB anyway. As much as I'd love to try and persuade you to come and join us... You'd be better off selling up and buying a rear engined RGB car if you have any aspirations of joining the formula.
I know where there's a spire for sale...
yeah but the problem is, as you have highlighted, he is now the proud owner of an uncompetitive car, with limited options to race. So his car is going to be difficult to sell. Best option surely is to have a class structure in RGB, which includes the 919?I know where there's a spire for sale...
I also got the impression that the OP had the car already and was looking for something to do with it, as opposed to buying it and realising it wasn't eligible/competitive for anything, which would be a bit foolish as that's a key part of homework to buying a competition car.
The fury would most definitely be sellable as a trackday or Hill climb car then there's the option to put the money towards something that would be more suitable to whatever he wants to do.

I don't know the full back story how we ended up with no R&F classes though.
Essentially so as to make it always worth passing the car in front. Without that if you were in a rear engined car just behind a front running F then there was no point trying to get past. As it is with the weight variation for F and R cars the performance is actually pretty similar. (But there's only one properly developed F car in existence.)I'd love to have a "classic RGB" formula but although lots of people talk about the cars being out there the fact is they just don't come out racing. If they did they'd get a race, and pots.
