Mansell Spouse

A bit out of leftfield this one,
I'm pretty sure I went to college in Solihull with Roseanne Mansell, I remember her mentioning her boyfriend Nigel raced cars, although this was a long time ago and before he was in F1 and obviously before they married.
I can't remember her maiden name so idly I thought I would google or wiki it - no luck, do any of you obscure fact fans know that one?!
It's so long ago now I'm beginning to think perhaps I imagined it

Not sure about her maiden name, but they got married very young, 1975 (according to Google) I read his autobiography, she sacrificed a lot for his career, and it luckily paid off in the end, so fair play to her.

I grew up in Hall Green, about 10 minute walk from where Mansell used to live. It's that house he sold to finance his drive with Lotus.

Not much is made of this, but within a 1 mile of Mansell's house Murrary Walker was born on Reddings Lane.

Semi useless contribution. My mum met them as a couple in about 94 and said she was a lovely lady. Sadly Nigel was constantly distracted by people who wanted photo opportunities, which is understandable I suppose.

Nelson PK made some rather disparaging remarks about Mrs Mansell when he and Nige were team mates at Williams. Could there, perchance, be a connection.

Seems to be more than a coincidence, asking for a friend.
