Very nice. What engine does it have?
An FVC, 1.8l, limited to 9k, it sounds absolutely glorious
Ah yes, I knew that of course biggrin What happened in the race at Silverstone Classic?

Struggled with a misfire all weekend and final effort at a fix before the race nobbled something else so it wouldn't start. Eventually got out to see if it was any better but no luck.

Still, better than Spa where I managed 4 laps in qualifying before the clutch exploded, exiting stage right out of bell housing. The failure was enough to break the engine mounts, so in a sense was pleased it didn't cause any actual crash for me or the car following my oil slick through Blanchimont.

Would like to say it can only get better this season, but that isn't strictly true with racing smile

They said smile, things could be worse. So I smiled and things got worse!

This! First (ever) race is HSCC 25th April at Brands...
Great to see Jon! I’m on the HRSR committee and it’s great to see new members. We’ve got a fairly active Facebook group (historic racing saloons register), so if you’re not already a member, please do join!

Doing what I can, when I can, where I can

Hopefully a few races in SMRC Celtic Speed Mini Cooper Cup - Cheap and cheerful one make racing with the Mini Cooper R50

A few rounds of Super Lap Scotland (TimeAttack style event) and its handicap / aggregate time base 'Chase Race' - Use the Impreza for this, or plan to at least

KMSC - Modified Saloons - either the Impreza or the diet spec Mini (pink one)

Hopefully visit Anglesey for 'Race of Remembrance' again... bring a couple of the minis biggrin

This hopefully with the hscc 70’s roadsports, found the photo on PistonHeads so thanks to whoever took it
I do love an Alfa Sprint. Is it eligible for the HRDC Classic Alfa series, too?

Looking forward to getting out in CSCC Magnificent 7s at Thruxton (never been there), Snetterton, Donington and Mallory, propping up the rest of the grid obviously.

I am also hopeful of finally getting a rally sorted in this, once the Pinto is finally fitted, and rallying is allowed to return, although that is probably some time behind racing.

I'm changing from the slowest class in the Caterham Graduates to the fastest. I'm hoping to do the CSCC Magnificent 7s round at Donington as well.

Is that just by driving quicker? biggrin What is the fastest spec? Is it the 150 class (just looked at the website?

2018 was our first full season, 2019 we scaled back to buy a house.

2020 hoping to do the full PBMW season, and an endurance race!

Hoping to do another video like below (with less spins) smile

It's a Sigmax. In terms of laptimes Sigmax (non-VVTi Sigma Supersport) and 150 (VVTi Sigma 310R) seem to be the same.

After a couple of years off I'm planning to do a few club sprints in my VX220 at Blyton and Curborough. It's standard other than Quantum Zero suspension.

I tend to get my arse handed to me on a plate in the VX as it is competing with supercharged Elises and all sorts in Class. This is my bone-stock daily driver but it's a hoot on track and would be more competitive in it's class so will probably take the RX8 for an event too.

Can't afford circuit racing at the moment!

Duffus Dip in reverse. Never did drive Knockhill backwards. Stopping for the hairpin downhill off the main straight must be fun.

Have a look at the RX8 only class within CSCC. Largely standard cars, just stripped out and safety prepped Ian the Blur Book. Cheap racing, by racing standards! And you can share the car in 40 min races (with a pit stop) so you can share costs.
