I'll be out in the old Bluebus again this year. Entered a handful of HERO and HRCR rallies, plus the HRCR Speed Series and BARC Connaught Speed Championship for some hill climbing and sprinting. It's been a few years since I last entered a BARC event so I'm keen to find out how the revised handicap points system favours the older cars. A number of events are on both HRCR and BARC calendars so it should be interesting.

Shame Chateau Impney is no more too. Lucky enough to get an entry there last year and loved it.

Should have this out for the rest of the season, ran out of prep time then ended up chasing a overheating issue which resulted in an engine rebuild.

Got the pic to work! Racing this in the Mazda Motorsport UK series (BARC), which evolved out of the MAX5 series and includes all MX5s and now RX8s. I've spent years doing track days and the odd sprint, never really used my race licence and finally took the plunge. No idea how I'll get on but looking forward to trying it out!

Great to see Dave! What’s the spec? I’m guessing that despite the age it doesn’t have the B16 motor in it?

Was this the car Patrick Watts was hustling round Donington at the Historic Festival a few years ago?

New wrap is on order as my 'paintwork' is a bit tired frown

2018 was our first full season, 2019 we scaled back to buy a house.

2020 hoping to do the full PBMW season, and an endurance race!

Hoping to do another video like below (with less spins) smile

Sorry been away - no this is not the car raced by Patrick and a few times Steve Soper - this was built by CCK for the first Members meeting and we bought it about three years ago - we run it in the HRDC with a modified B18 running Webber 40s but we’ve just got it through its App K inspection when it has to run SUs - had lots of gearbox woes but hopefully our latest mods will mean the box becomes more reliable - have a quaife diff in it right now but will switch to a plate LSD for this season.... its not as quick as the one Patrick and Steve hustle (especially when they drive it) but is getting a little bit closer.....

A 2nd year doing club enduro in my 318is, we were well off the pace last year but have a bit more power, a bit less weight (well the car does atleast) and a short ratio LSD so hoping to be a bit closer to the rest of class C.

Trying to find a home, probably a combination of the CALM All Porsche series, and Porsche Club championship

An FVC, 1.8l, limited to 9k, it sounds absolutely glorious
