I know its been a long time coming considering my first race weekend was about a month ago!! But finally I have gotten around to posting the vidoes here (for those who are interested!!). I am in the process of writing a report for the team which will go on the site ( http://www.rosso-racing.com/) as a Report in due course. Anyway, I got bored of report writing so have posted the videos here!!

I am racing in the MR2 series (full grid of Mk1 MR2) which is really great fun!!

Enjoy!

Race 1
Race 2

Not bad after an average qualifying when I spent most of the time either avoiding other people's accidents or working out where the damned track went!! LOL

What bizzare weather in that place though - sunny one min, rain the next etc etc.

By the third race I should have whacked on new tyres, but took too long to make the decision before we were called into the assembly area. Absolutely bugger all grip - I guess I'm lucky that it didn't rain THAT much in that session!! Live and learn I guess!! Oh, and the windscreen wipers were crap so I ended up leaning down and to the right for something like half the session just trying to bloody see out (wasn't helped with "The Sherrif" (I think) chucking mud at my car!! LOL).

I see a few small investments having to be made before the next race - tyres, windscreen wipers (proper ones), and am thinking of upgrading to a "proper" 6 point harness (see my list of threads on here!!)

So, how did you find it at Pembrey then??

Cheers

Ah, and I hope to see the Noble at one of these races sometime soon... I may have to be given a ride wink

hehe lol the Noble is spreading like wildfire - the only downside is I don't own it any more; sold it last August-ish to fund going racing. Is a shame, I loved that car.....some pics here from a glorious track day:

...but tbh I go faster round a track with the MR2 and its 1.6l N/A engine than I ever did in that twin turbo....something to do with not bankrupting myself if I bent it....

Pembrey for me was not good in the end - combination of bad luck, muppetry, and a desire for more preparation...I wrote it all up in my [new] blog here...

(I'll be posting a messy-highlights vid from qualifying shortly, what a mess that was!)

Next time eh....

Lol I wish!

Been missing it juat today actually, I've almost forgotten the sound the turbos and intakes make, it was lovely.

Kinda like a cross between remembering a dead relative and giving up smoking...an expensive habit but you love it and never stop wanting it, even feeling guilty when you start to forget the details.

Damnit I'm proper miserable now frown
