Hi All,

We're visiting Anglesey for the first time this year with the 750MC. Can anyone tell me what the facilities are like - are there showers and electrical hookup etc?

Cheers,

Patrick

I'm really looking forwards to it! We're testing on Friday though and not racing until Sunday which means we'll be camping.

circuit is superb, you'll love it, irrespective of the layout.
as has been said, showers and hookup, basic but fine.
as for camping, ive done it, and on the 2nd occasion abandoned and booked a B&B.
the place isnt nick named 'Angle-in-the-sea' for nothing! you can easily get 3 out of the 4 seasons in a day.
dont let it put you off, just go prepared, its a great circuit
if it helps a few of us hired some holiday bungalows near Holyhead, Treaddur Bay, a 6 berth bungalow (1 x twin, 2 x dbl rooms) was £190 for 4 nights over last Bank Holiday weekend!! almost as cheap as camping if theres a few of ya! basic, but clean and even an indoor swimming pool to keep the family entertained whilst i was on track

Well, I say camping... Does it still count if you're in an American Motorhome? party

I have never been so impressed with a circuit before. Yes on a good day it's stunningly beautiful, on a bad day it's the end of the earth.

Facilities will get there and once they do I hope BTCC, F3/GT & BSB go there. Until they do let's keep it our secret....

Great back drop, great circuit, amazing gradients, you'll enjoy for sure. BIG thumbup from me!!

LOL, you can tell you aint been there in bad weather, you'll be dry but the wind and rain will ensure you dont sleep.
to be fair a motorhomes a good shout, just make sure someone with a bigger one is between you and the sea as a wind break and you'll be fine.

Why not? The Breakfast Bap and hotdogs are the highlight of any trip imho.

Well, the last time I went, the wait to be served was about 30 mins and the burgers were rank!

My lads won't go here if possible as they hate the ciruit as being mickey mouse. Might be different in a saloon car, bu I doubt it. I've also raced there twice in our car and it's no Combe or Oulton, thats for sure.

You really are joking aren't you? Its fantastic since it was completely re-done. I think its the second widest circuit in the UK now after Silverstone, has some fantastic & challenging layouts, some great corners (particularly the Corkscrew on the Coastal configuration), good run offs & some brilliant scenary. You can't have raced it since it was redeveloped. It's as good as Donington in my opinion & there's nothing about it that's mickey mouse (apart from the lack of pit garages and the burger van!
