Its a racing incident,
"Racing incident". . . interesting phrase, but what does it actually mean? Not a lot!Every "racing incident" has a cause & could have been avoided - in this case, there would have been no problem if the white car hadn't stopped where it did stop, if the driver of the car that hit it had seen it sooner, etc., etc. Many incidents are the result of the coming together of a number of occurrences, any one of which, in isolation, would not have caused a problem.
Avoidable, yes, but can the blame be pinned on any one individual? In many instances, no!

I can't believe that. A stupid mistake. Being a safe and competent racing driver is not simply being able to pedal quickly, its being aware of whats around you, being able to work with the team and having mechanical apptitude - something in my view the ARDS test doesn't accommodate enough. In short - No - thats an error that should have the clerks/stewards reviewing their position and considering strongly whether to allow them to continue competiting.
