LOOM and Brake Light Pedal Motion Switch kit.
Discussion
As far as I understand the "Brake Light Pedal Motion Switch kit", it will give information, if the brake pedal is pressed, so the brake lights can light up at the correct time.
Normally this will be done by the "brass brake 4 way"?
So should I connect the cable from the "Brake Light Pedal Motion Switch kit" to the loom at position 71 instead of connecting "71" to the ""brass brake 4 way"? Or is there another solution?

Yep, you've got it. You'll need to run the wires from the new pedal mounted switch down the left hand side of the chassis with the main loom, all the way to the back where it replaces the pressure switch and connects to the loom at pos 71. Once connected, I built the whole lot into the main loom.
I binned the 4-way adapter out of neatness and fitted a t-piece (as it used at the front m-cyl to feed the front brakes), as it meant I could delete the pressure switch too.
HTH.

The advantage over the 4-way is a faster reaction when breaking or why is this upgrade available?
Aye. The pressure switch on the brake line takes quite a bit of pressure to activate, from what I've heard. The pedal switch will trigger a lot sooner. The advantage over the 4-way is a faster reaction when breaking or why is this upgrade available?
I've gone for this upgrade after 3yrs of having my friends complain that I never braked in the Atom.... I did, it's just that the switch was too slow to react to light brushes of the pedal!
One factor is that as standard it's driven from the rear brake circuit and depending on how your bias is set, you may not get enough pedal pressure to activate it (I'm no hydraullics expert - but that was my theory when building the Can-Am). I switched it to the front and it was never a problem. That said, I had it on the rear of the GTR and never had any issues with it there?
Reading that back, I'm not sure of the point of my post at all
