Interest piqued... I would like more air inside as I don't have a/c.

Would it not potentially be in a low pressure areas mounted up on the roof?

Any air going up over the roof has likely come through the radiator first so is going to be far from fresh/cold.

Far better to bring a pipe from one of the 'Brake Duct' vents in the front clip, up between the front suspension and through the bulkhead. On the inside fit an air valve (Car Builder Solutions) with an operating cable and point the air flow at the general area of the heater fan.
You can then control when you have cool air coming in and can then use the fan to flow it around.

The air that goes up to the roof will be cool. When I drive with my windows out the radiator will vent hot air about 1/3 of the way up the side window but not higher. That scoop looks like a great solution. I would place it aft of the roof peak or in the top of the door.

I would guess a lot from what we have seen by making some subtle modifications - this is going to make a real mess of the airflow. The ducting from the clam openings into the clam as Steve suggests is a much better option, and if routed correctly, can be made self draining when any water that gets into it
