Sorry to here this, but the poor ****er probably had a bad childhood. Jealous bastard.

But in the words of Travolta in Pulp Fiction

"You don't **** with a man's automobile"

It's about time they started teaching kids this at school rather than all of this liberal shite they fill their heads with.

I remember a few years ago a couple of local thugs in Wales were apprehended by some locals, stripped naked and handcuffed to a lamp post. Photos were then taken and submitted to the local press which were published the following week.

Not that I would dream of suggesting that this should happen to the person writing their name on your car.

BASTARDS!

If you know who did it, I'm quite happy to come round and introduce them to my 'reasoning stick'.

It's a bit of 4"x2" with nails sticking out of it!

There's instructions for repairing the GRP in the build manual mate. Maybe one for Ted and co. though.

This is horrible! Don't worry, I'm sure something can be worked out to fix this. Actually, I know that it can...its all a question of money. You can repair gelcoat, and I know there are people out there who can match and spot repair the scratch if it looks too deep for buffing. You'll need to find a real expert though. I would speak to both auto body and the guys that do gelcoat boat repairs. Also ask the guys over at www.autobodystore.com . This is a site used by many proffesional paint and body repair experts. There is a message group section, and the guy that runs it is Len Stuart. He's a paint and body zen master! I'm not sure of his experience with gelcoat, but I'm sure he can better advise you. He also sells terrific buffing and polishing compounds that I'm sure you can get in the UK. These are the types of guys that do $20k and $30k (U.S.) paint jobs. Hell, they can even tell you what's involved with $100k paint job! Relax...it can be fixed! You just need the right man for the job.
Cheers!

Sorry to hear your news Bug, What is it with these ****ing people.

Come on lads lets sort em...

P.S. Would probably contact Ted before attempting any repairs, I'm sure the factory will be able to help. They might even lend us a couple of drive shafts, know what I mean...

Justice has been seen to be done, little brat won't be picking his nose for a while, it's to swollen and his finger don't fit up there any longer covered in plaster after he slipped and fell on a bar of soap and broke them,

I 'm all choked up, no-one absolutely no-one does that to my Ultima and can expect to walk away without lasting pain !!!!

The pondlife has revealed his innate lack of intelligence by 1) f**king with your car and 2) signing his handiwork.

A bit like the armed robber who handed over his driver's license to the cashier when she said 'I can only release the money if I have proof of ID'

I think Stig's stick was the best idea.

My Ultima is also 4 wks old and I hope you get reconpence.

The body should have come with some gel coat to aid repairs. You will need to over fill the scratch and then sand down flush (you may need to increase the size of the scratch to get an effective key!), the area can then be finished of with a polisher and compound.

If you don't have any gel coat speak to the factory, or find another owner with the same colour car (mine is red).

You say the body is supposed to come with some spare gel coat? Someone else told me the same. I asked Richard for some for a minor repair and got an invoice for 29 quid in the bargain.

I got a tub of gel coat and catalyst with my bodyshell stamped with the batch number that matches the rest of the bodywork.

If you didn't get this and your kits is new then lean on them. According to the inventory it's meant to be there. I've found that Ultima can be a bit overzealous at charging for their cockups at times...
